Alluring Lillies

As I walked with a friend through a lovely nature center, I caught sight of a pond with lilies in bloom. As I drew closer, I became fascinated with the way the leaves curled and caught the light. This was one of those paintings that was very challenging but fun and caused me to totally lose track of time. Dinner was late!
